Heart of Summer

My name is Megan Summer Plis.  I was born on June 21, or as most people know it, the first day of summer.  Because of this, I feel connected to all things warm, sunny and fun--just like summer.  Therefore, I try to add the carefree sense of summer to everyday through food, fun & frugality.

This site represents my heart in words and pictures, and I hope you enjoy my posts.  I have travelled all over the country, and I have recorded these memories in photography and though recipes inspired by the areas I have travelled.
